Officers, Chief Warrant Officers (CWO) and Master Warrant Officer (MWO) of The Royal Canadian Regiment are authorized to wear a woven variation of the regimental badge on their berets.
The images above show some of the variations of these woven badges. The use of ordering smnall batches, varying sources, and minor issues of maintaining strict quality control for precision of replication and colour have resulted in a wide variety of minor changes over the years.
In the 2010s, these badges started to be produced on a variey of backing colours to match headdress worn by members of the Regiment: green (Canadian Army beret), maroon (maroon beret), midnight blue (officer's field service cap ("wedge"), tan (Special Operations Forces beret.
